A membership is a service agreement, not insurance. It is billed once a year, on the date you join, and renews one year at a time. To cancel, call or text before the renewal date; we send a reminder 30 days ahead. A visit you did not use by the renewal date does not carry over, and we do not refund visits already made. Water damage, rot and whole-wall repainting are not part of a visit; we write them up separately before any work. Your price is written down after we walk the house.

How a year runs

From walk-through to renewal

Six steps, and you are in the loop at each one.

  1. 01

    Step 1: The walk-through

Clarice or a crew lead walks the house with you, once. We write your color record and a first list of what we see.

  2. 02

Step 2: You pick a tier

Three tiers, and you can move up or down at renewal. We write what is in yours on one page.

  3. 03

Step 3: We call to book

In the quiet months we call, text or email with two dates. Pick one, or tell us another.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The visit

Two painters, a half day or a full day. We text when they leave the shop and when they finish.

  5. 05

    Step 5: The list

Within the week you get a page: what we fixed, what we saw, and what is coming. Photos are on it.

  6. 06

    Step 6: Renewal

We text a reminder 30 days before your date. To cancel, reply or call before the date.

Plain terms

What the terms say

In full, on one page, before you pay.

  • Billing

Once a year, on the date you join. There is no monthly figure.

  • Cancelling

Call or text before the renewal date. We send a reminder 30 days ahead.

  • Unused visits

A visit not used by the renewal date does not carry over, and visits made are not refunded.

  • Not insurance

A membership is a service agreement. It does not pay for damage and it is not a warranty.

  • Extra work

Anything beyond a touch-up is written up and quoted. We do not start it on a visit.

Questions

About the membership

What is not included?

Water damage, rot, drywall or plaster repair beyond hairline cracks, and repainting a whole wall or room unless your tier says so. We write those up on your list and quote them before any work.

Is a membership insurance or a warranty?

No. It is a service agreement for visits. Any warranty from a past paint job is separate, and its terms, limits and exclusions are in that job’s written warranty.

How do I cancel?

Call or text before your renewal date. We text a reminder 30 days ahead. Visits already made are not refunded, and an unused visit does not carry over.

What if I only paint one room or the outside?

Tell us at the walk-through. A tier is a starting point; we write the list around the rooms and surfaces you have.

Is my deposit or annual payment refundable?

The annual price is billed once, on the date you join. Visits already made are not refunded; the terms are on the membership page and in your agreement.

Ask about a visit

Tell us about the house and which tier you are thinking about. We reply with two dates for a walk-through.
