Work with us

A steady painting job through the winter

Outside painting slows down in a Cincinnati winter. Our membership keeps both crews busy inside, which is why we can say how pay works.

  • How you are paid

Hourly, every Friday. Your rate is in your offer letter, written before your first day, and changes only in writing.

  • The clock starts at the first door

Paid from the first house of the day to the last, including drive time between visits.

  • Tools and paint

The shop supplies brushes, rollers, ladders, respirators and paint. You bring boots and a good attitude.

  • A way up

Painter, then lead painter, then crew lead. Rufino and Shalini both started on a crew; the steps and what each pays are written down.

  • Hours

Monday to Friday, daytime. Visits are scheduled, so there are no surprise weekends.

  • Training

Every new painter works beside a lead for their first weeks, including the work practices that apply to homes built before 1978.
